About Us

 

Sara and Robert Bublak purchased Atlasta Farm Quarter Horses in 1998. At that time, there was only a farm house and a little over 10 acres on the property. Since that time, the Bublak's have raised a barn, 2 round pens, several run-in sheds and paddocks, and they have built an outdoor arena (100x150) with sand footing for training. 

 

The Bublak's started their farm with only Sara's blue mare, IBM Rhapsody In Blue, Sara's trail and riding horse, and then they began to search the country to buy the other horses.  After a few months, they found their current stallion, Bad Smokin Habit, and began to expand the herd from there.

 

The mares include:  Sugars Little Equal who was started on barrels when the Bublak's purchased her.  Miss Zippos Cooler was shown after they purchased her, but whose career was short lived due to an accident.   Their newest mare, Mikado Silk has arrived with a baby at her side and is a real sweetie!

 

In 1998, Sara Bublak set out from the very beginning to produce foals with excellence in conformation, intelligence, and athleticism for an all-around solid quarter horse. The Bublak's feel that if they can get all that and have color too, then that's a bonus! 

 

Here at Atlasta Farm Quarter Horses, the Bublak's horses are part of the family. After looking at the pedigrees of their horses, one can see that they don't prefer any certain pedigree type - just a good, level headed, workable horse with a good bloodline - like that of Bad Smokin Habit.
